We are back from our trip to fantastic Paris but I am completely exhausted!

Today I am showing you a piece of furniture which belongs to my sister-in-law. I shot it on New Year's Eve when we were invited for a gourmet dinner in their home. She renovates furniture and sells them in her shop where also other lovely things can be bought. Have a look here. Don't miss to visit her while you are in Lucerne (which by the way is my home town and always worth a trip!)

I cant't help it...

I can't help it but I love these white rooms! They are simple but still lively. I love the kitchen with the mirror - that's true luxury! I am also taken by the checked tablecloth. I think I'll buy one for my table too. With the white chairs, the flowers, the dishes, glasses and cutlery it looks somewhat fancy but not stiff.

While you are reading this post I am still wondering around in Paris, hehehe!

This is my life...

It's my birthday today! I adore Shirley Bassey, she is so divine! Her song expresses my feelings today!
I will celebrate with my men (husband and two sons) this evening and enjoy a delicious dinner!

Tomorrow I will take off for... well... I'll tell in my next post!

Shelter Island (part two)

This is part two of Shelter Island. The interior design is very different but not less attractive than the one I showed yesterday. It's cool and light and très chic!

Hope you enjoyed the little trip to the island. I am too far away to visit but maybe you are closer and have a chance to do so.

Shelter Island, US (part one)

I found these pictures in the web and I think they are just awesome! I love every edge of this fisherman's house! The crispy white interior combined with black and it's charm are wonderful and make me long for summer. I think I'll have another day dreaming! Tomorrow I'll show you part two of Shelter Island.
