Pink is everywhere

 At the moment it's the color pink I can't resist! 

Tomorrow we are taking off for Scotland! 

The weather doesn't promise much sun but we are all 

so happy to have a break and a rest from daily life!

Vernal flowers

Together with five friends my son is renting a garden. It is the first spring they are trying out their gardening skills. About two weeks ago he brought home some tulip bulbs. They had tiny leaves  and looked rather weak. I put them in a vase but did not expect them to bloom. As you can see from the photo I was proofed wrong: Yesterday - just in time for spring - two wonderfully red flowers appeared and greeted me!

I am confident: Even if the weather does not look like it -

SPRING IS ON IT'S WAY!

Two minutes...

ago I saved my pansies from being completely and utterly covered with snow...

and in two minutes that is what I will do...

This was a shy comeback. Thanks for all your e-mails and comments. I had run out of steam for posting and blogging or anything to do with computers! Slowly it comes back though!
