I received this photo from Alice from Canberra, Australia! She shot the pic on a holiday in Naxos, Greece and sent it to me last week. The rust (or gold?) of the staircase harmonizes exceedingly well with the slate of the door. When I saw it I immediately had the WOW-FACTOR.

Christa... I think it might be rust! But... you are right... it's beautiful rust! I love the door with the Art Deco details. It must have been very beautiful, once, and it still could be restored to its original condition! It is gorgeous, though! LOVE IT!
