We celebrated New Years Eve in Lucerne with a fantastic aperitif at Moni's and Schumi's house but we also celebrated New Year at Metallgarten near Berne. Metallgarten is a huge workshop of a metalsmith which can be transformed into a location with bar, stage, restaurant for upto 250 persons. It is here where candle nights take place which I imagine must be magic. When we arrived many dozens of candles were lit - I was blown away by the atmosphere! Unfortunately my cam is not good enough to take pics in such an atmosphere but two came out quite well. Get some more information here (unfortunately only in German but the photographs speak for themselves).
