Impressions Isle of Skye - Inner Hebrides, Scotland

A few impressions from our Scotland holidays! These photos were taken on the Isle of Skye (Inner Hebrides). We were so lucky with the weather! In our travel guide it said that on the Hebrides the weather is mostly misty and wet... we took the plunge anyway and got rewarded!

    So pleased that your trip to the Isle of Skye was a success. If the weather is good in Scotland it takes some beating, the air is so pure and clear. There is a special clarity that seems to make the colours bolder.

    I'm so glad you had a wonderful holiday in Skye. You were so lucky with the weather the sky looks so blue. I was able to recognize some of the places from our holiday last year which bought back happy memories!

    Christa ....you came so near :-) we could have met I work 5 mins away from your first photo.
    The weather has been like that up here for weeks now, so glad it was nice when you visited
    hope you took lots of nice memories home.
    We have had rain for 2 days but now we are back with stunning clear blue skies and sunshine.

    I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday and that the weather was fine fior you, as here it's only just beginning to improve. It's the everlasting British Winter! Off to Italy next month, Christa! I hope we can manage to get ourselves organized very quickly.
