As we are still waiting for the warm weather here
I thought that some spring feelings on our plates could do well...
A salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, pomegranate, oranges, mint parsley,
olive oil, salt, pepper a bit of honey and crumbled feta cheese was like medicine!
We had warm baguette and a glass of red wine with it.
At least some little bit of spring in the tummy...

Sometimes the simple things are best - it looks beautiful and I can imagine it tasted delicious.
ReplyDeleteVery good idea :) It looks so tasty!
ReplyDeleteI am loving this dish Christa.
ReplyDeleteI make a similar dish, without the honey or pomegranate ...
I often add tuna. Our small baby tomatoes are delicious at the moment.
I think this will be tomorrows lunch.

Spring in the kitchen should encourage spring in the air! It looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteSounds like heaven! I love the additions of the fruits. I like to keep a basic Greek salad in the fridge. You've given me some ideas to freshen it up.
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty too!
Looks and sounds good.
ReplyDeleteHello! My name is Marina, I've run into your blog right now. And I've love it at the first sight, a new follower from Jerez (Spain)
ReplyDeleteHello Christa! I love your salad! I find that you can be creative with salads, especially if you add cheese, or different ingredients to the "green" stuff!
ReplyDeleteWhen I go shopping, I always stop at Pret, to eat their salad with avocado, crayfish, mixed leaves and the most fantastic dressing! Adding prawns, or maybe chicken, for a non vegetarian version, is good. In my blog I have a recipe for a tuna and potato salad, which is, to me, one of the best salads in the world, really full of flavour... and now I feel hungry!
HAPPY DAY!
