Skate at Somerset House




 While in London we passed the ice-rink at Somerset house. I was so happy to see it:





Inside is the Christmas Arcade with many lovely items perfect for presenting to your dear ones - or to yourself...

All is decorated so prettily and with care
When we came back outside the ice-rink was tinted in purple... such a Christmassy feel...







As an extra I was able to shoot these pictures in the Arcade. 
I think this makes a heavenly decoration and 
I may use the idea for a window in the staircase next year:

    Christmas is nearly here and you have captured it's spirit so well in London - the baubles in the window are a great idea, so simple but effective.

    Those baubles look so good. I have recently been seeing so many lovely pictures of celebrating Christmas in London , including these pictures!
