Sprouts, blue grapes, walnuts mixed with olive oil, maple syrup, salt and coarse-ground pepper.
Mix well, put on a tray and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
That's what it looked after baking:
As we had overmuch bread I made the following:
Cut bread in half, spread some butter and mustard on it, put Camembert cheese on top, sprinkle with rose pepper, coarse-ground pepper and bake in the oven at 200°C until the cheese has melted.
Before baking:
After baking:
I think this is an easy dinner for an easy evening in wintertime -
and a glass of red wine with it, is the final touch!
Enjoy!

DeleteHello dear Christa,
ReplyDeleteNice to see you again. Was missing you.
These dishes look delicious. I watched J. Oliver before christmas. He was showing how to cook sprouts with bacon. I have done it and its delicious, with a touch of olive oil.. I must try this one. I love cheese on toast.
Hope you are all well.
wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Dear Christa, it's lovely to see you again! I missed your posts. Welcome back! I tried to follow the link in your previous post but it didn't work. I'm not sure because it was some time ago that I watched another BBC production, but it could be the same man who made a journey across Britain with no money at all, depending on people giving him food and shelter for the night. That was quite interesting! He found out that people want to give, but many are afraid. Of strangers perhaps.
ReplyDeleteThat meal look yummy :). Have a lovely w/e!
