Each year I am so charmed by these vibrant, colorful hollyhocks in the middle of my hometown. They accompany me when I walk to the shops. I have asked the official gardeners whether they had planted them but they negated. They assume that someone had scattered seeds secretly and now these beauties grow year after year. I have picked seeds of them and planted them in pots. In fact they are growing and making leaves but no flowers have appeared so far. I even talk to them but it does not help. Someone just told me that the flowers grow only the second year after planting. So there is still hope!!!
