Creative hubby...

Paul made this rack for me for Christmas!
I had given him many hints hoping he would understand and  voilà! he did!
(Next time I shall try it with diamonds...)

My new motto in the kitchen...

Have a sweet Saturday!

Vintage Kitchen and Cookware

Love these pictures and I hope you do so too!

I am busy today again - it is my older son's birthday and some friends are coming for dinner!

But first going to work and then time to cook and bake!

Best,

To die for!

I adore this kitchen! All in white and so huge!
All my pots and pans could be stored!
The Eames chairs.... oooohh, so awesome! The stucco work - I am wordless!
The blackish floor combined with the white of the cupboards -  fantastic! I also love the window.
It is the eye to the outside - it is as if nature is part of the room.

To put it short: Isn't this kitchen to die for?

Enjoy your Thursday!

Kitchen trays

Yesterday I had time to re-arrange my kitchen trays. Doesn't it look funny how they are waiting patiently for someone to take them out and carry a glass, a cup, a plate or whatever on them? Whatever is served  it always appears to be festive on a silver tray!
That's what I like about simple things: You can make daily life grand with no effort.

Have a lovely Tuesday! Here the sun is shining and the sky is blue! How fantastic is that?

Kitchen: Simple and beautiful!

I saw this video from Canadian House and Home and recommend watching it.
Pay attention to the part of the photocopied cutlery.
I think that is what I am going to do soon.
It has got a great effect, seems to be easy and costs almost nothing!

In the meantime have fun and keep your eyes open for inspirations - they are all around you!

Pimp up your kitchen!

Why not doing that with a small thing like a kettle?
The choice is yours!
In my opinion they are all appealing and I would heat up water with all of them for cups of magic!

Thanks for visiting me today - come back again!

Clean white

I love these clean white dishes. The way they are exposed on the shelves together with the wooden bowls, the wooden cutting boards, the linen towels and the glassware looks fantastic.

Here the sun comes out, the sky is blue and the weather is spreading a springlike atmosphere.

So nothing else to do but to enjoy a gorgeous Sunday!
