Finally I managed to make my this year's Hydrangea wreath...

In the park nearby are loads of them.
observe them from tiny in spring until they are in that siren red telling me to come and take some home...

Then I let them dry for about a week.

After that they are ready to become a wreath and last till next spring
when the tiny ones appear again in the park...

Now it is hanging on our apartment door.  Pleasing me every day!

Hubby's stars and Manuela's stitching

When hubby came home...

Made with love by Manula

Last week hubby came come from his studio and presented me a bag of wooden stars he made out of waste wood. He has made a lovely job because they are all in a different shape. I painted them in white and now they are displayed on the rack he has made last year.

AND there is another wonderful present I received! It is that lovely bag with the Christmas ornaments stitched by Manuela from Lilla Svalan. At the moment it holds our onions! Thank you very much, Manuela!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

I did it!

Grey pumpkin from Manuela

The pumpkin of Manuela from Lilla Svalan inspired me so much that I gave it a try too: Crocheting a pumpkin! I had not had a crochet needle in my hand for over 35 years and on top - I hated crocheting then! With the help of you tube and lots of confidence I MANAGED! Look at the result above! They are not as perfect as Manuela's but I am very proud all the same!

So what does that story tell?

NEVER GIVE UP!

Keep well!

Creative hubby...

Paul made this rack for me for Christmas!
I had given him many hints hoping he would understand and  voilà! he did!
(Next time I shall try it with diamonds...)

My new motto in the kitchen...

Have a sweet Saturday!

Last pictures of autumn and first pictures of X-mas

I received this hand-knitted pumpkin from Manuela from Lilla Svalan - I ADORE it!!!

Some pics of your living from last Saturday morning.
The sheep skins are from Ikea. They were at cut price so I bought one for each chair...

Some leftover photos from my autumn decoration...

... and here some pictures of the first X-mas deco.

I am ending this post with that little pig which was also a present from Manuela.
So sweet - I may copy it for New Years deco.

THANK YOU, MANUELA!

I have not been visiting my blog for days and therefore have to catch up with your comments - I also have not been visiting any blogs lately. I will try to do that soon though. However, I would like to thank you for all your e-mails - I am so happy that you have been missing me - let me say I also missed you - I just needed a break for other (important) things in my life.

Happy day to you!

The arrival of one cupcake and three matryoshka dolls

These pretties arrived yesterday in my post.
A hand-sewn cupcake and three hand-sewn matryoshka dolls.

And the story goes like this:

I had taken part in a giveaway by Manuela of Lilla Svalan
You know what happened I won a prize! Yep!

Here some photos of the unpacking of the parcel:

What's behind the lovely napkin?

Revealing the secret...

Matryoshka doll No. 1

No. 2

The smallest - No. 3

Pretty cupcake without calories but lovely flowers

And here Manuela's proof that it is all made by her:

Such lovely things made with much love and care! I am so lucky!
I hope the matryoshka dolls will like me and my home!
Thanks a lot, Manuela! I am sending you big kisses and big hugs!
Visit Manuela's blog! I admire here a lot - she seems to be a strong woman with lots of power
 - there is always some crafting, gardening, renovating in her house going on.

Happy Saturday evening! Enjoy those special hours!
