The chair was a present from my brother-in-law. It belonged to his grandparents and I painted it white. |
The atmosphere of our entry yesterday morning when I woke up and the sun shone through the windows.
It all had the air of lightness, freshness and the promise of a good, sunny and blissful day.
And so it was.

Ciao, Christa! I love your lobby! It's roomy, light and... those b/w tiles are to die for! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of white and blue china, which used to live in my bedroom. I have just removed it, as I'm a bit tired of looking at it, but it is lovely and it looks beautiful on a table. I have so many bits and pieces!
Between my husband and myself, we have a museum. I would love to take some of our stuff to Italy, if we are lucky enough to be able to do that...

Seeing the first rays of sunlight in the morning is a great way to start the day. I love the feel of you hall and those coffee cups.

Hello Christa
ReplyDeleteI did a double take when I saw your Tea Set. It is Copenhagen? I have a 4 pce tea set, with tea pot and cream and sugar which my late father brought me when he visited Denmark. I use it for tea with guests.
I love how you casually display yours on the heirloom chair.
Have a glorious weekend
