Yesterday our son came back after a three months' cycling tour through Europe. He and his friend cycled 4000 km through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Danmark and Sweden. Yesterday morning they flew back from Stockholm. You may know what mother hearts are like - they are just happy and grateful when the kids are back safely and happy!
To give Moritz a warm welcome I sew a flag line and as he had turned 20 a few days ago, it was also a bit for his birthday. Of course we shall celebrate at a alter stage.
The white platter is a present he brought me. It's from iittala!
The plastic bag was torn after the flight. I have a project with it and hope to realize it soon!
I hope you are as happy as I am!

Dear Christa
ReplyDeleteI understand the happiness that your son turned back safe. I think your son is happy and satisfied with this around. You would have to say so much!! His gift is wonderful!

How lovely he is home. It is always reassuring when they arrive back safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your son is home! My boys are back now too. I'm not sure I would have been able to handle 3 months! Guess I better get used to the idea though because Jesse says he is leaving again very soon. I'm not even used to him being home yet!
ReplyDeleteHihi Christa,

It must have been wonderful to have him home after such a time. What an achievement cycling that far. I expect he has so many adventures to tell you too. I am always happier when both of mine are here with us!
