Sweets








Some sweets from my friend Ina. Her paintings are always cheerful, colorful and full of life! 
The tart with the pansies resembles a cake from Anna of  "A taste of Italy" which I baked after her recipe. See here.

    Christa... I just LOVE this painting, as it's very, very feminine and "cosy," in a sense! All the cakes look really lovely and good enough to eat, with lots of cream and fruit... ah... if only we could it mages!

    Your version of my ciambella is truly beautiful: I like the way you used pansies, rather than fruit as garnish (I think I had grapes in the middle of it, with a scrunptious ricotta filling!)
