Reappearance...






of the pansies! 
This afternoon they greeted me while having coffee on the balcony! 
Silly me hadn't noticed them till today. 
They are one of my faves and either a sign of spring or autumn...  well, definitely autumn - 
days have been misty, grey and dull from morning till evening...

There is hope for the weekend though! 
A few more summery days in sight!

    The pansies is such a small sweet flower. Tidy little blossoms that hold their happy little faces to the sun. There is a something proud, and strong about them, don't you think?

    They signal spring to me too, but some of mine have reappeared after a summer nap.

    Hi Christa! Yes, they are very pretty, but also "shy"... if you don't look carefully, you might miss them!

    In Italy, things grow so quickly! This Summer I have bought and collected lots of cacti. They kept growing and growing. The ones I planted last year have really grown. I have a huge cactus (like the ones in Mexico) which is really quite beautiful (I think I'm the only one to think so!) in a pot. My little lemon and orange trees have started growing, too, finally... quite exciting!

    But I can see that Autumn is approaching, here in England...
