Not yet replaced...

Here you see a composition in my kitchen which I wanted to sort out long ago. The moose antler I received from my father he shot that poor guy when he was in Sweden. The deer antlers I also received from my father he shot it near my home in Lucerne. The candle hodler is a present from one of my sons he bought it at a fleamarket. The cardholder hanging over the deer antlers I bought in the US in 1995 when my brother worked in the Swiss Embassy in Washington D.C.

I just hung up  these items  because there were a few nails from a painting I had replaced some time ago. Step by step they came together - in my mind I wanted to put them away or hang them up somewhere else. Today I decided to leave them in this place till Christmas time is over and then replace with something else more suitable for spring time.

Keep away from the hustle bustle today - it's Monday and a smooth start into this week is required!

  1. Hello Christa:
Oh how we love your mounted antlers! We imagine our hall walls covered with them but have only managed the head of a wild boar to date which is really not the same thing at all!!
