I saw them on my way to work and had passed them many times
always fascinated by them.
Yesterday some of them absolutely wanted to come home with me.
In their simplicity one nearly overlooks them but the combination
of that lush green and the deep blue is so perfect - it makes my heart sing!
Hope you are heading for a good Tuesday!

Hello Christa:
ReplyDeleteYou are so right that one can easily overlook a simple bush of Ivy and yet the berries are very interesting and, together with the leaves, make a wonderful arrangement for indoors. This is particularly so at this time of year when flower power is in short supply!
...och ja die wären auch mit zu mir gewandert...super schöne Bilder...

Christa... they are really lovely! They are good in flower arrangements, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteDid you know that pidgeons love to eat these berries? Don't ask me how I know, but I might as well know: my friend's dad used to shoot pidgeons and I used to "put" them in English pies! The pidgeons, not the berries...
Confused? So am I... what am I saying?
