Chocolate Kiss

Yesterday hubby had some business to do in Zuerich. On this occasion he had coffee in Café Mohrenkopf.  I was surprised that such a name still exists as "Mohrenkopf " is a politically incorrect word meaning "head of a black person". We also called a chocolate marshmallow as seen above "Mohrenkopf".  But now they are sold  as "chocolate kiss". However, these marshmallows are the speciality of that Café. Being the husband of a blogger Paul thought that this could be a nice subject for a post and took some pics with his mobile. Well, what to you say? He did not do a bad job, did he?

Here the sun is shining, the sky is blue and we are all so very pleased!

  3. This chocolate kiss looks divine! I was hoping for a recipe with the post...oh well. I was just thinking last night about making some marshmallow. You might have inspired me just a little further with that thought.

  4. "Testa di Moro" (Mohrenkopf) in Italian is actually the name of a very dark shade of brown, Christa! It never crossed my mind that it meant anything, except the name of a shade of brown.

The chocolate mallow "thing" we used to call golosini and... I used to eat lots of them, when I was a little girl, and loved them!

    The coffee looks good, too!

    CIAO!
