Nina Hartmann

Although I am far away from living in a shabby chic style (I have three men in the household who also have a vote and they definitely do not want to live with white only) I simply like the style. I recently bought this book from Nina Hartmann. It's pure loveliness and so divine and inspirational. It makes my heart warm. I guess you know Nina's blog. If not look here.

Bonne journée à tous!

  2. Hello Christa:
No, we did not know of Nina's blog, and so we are very pleased to have had your introduction. When one sees inspirational design ideas, it is not necessarily that one wishes to replicate them slavishly, but rather that they spark off other ideas in one's head. Although we could certainly never be called 'minimalist', we can see several most intriguing ideas in the photographs which you show here. Lovely!

  3. Dear Christa - when you see images like these it makes you want to start all over again. However, the reality is that over our lifetime we collect so many objects, books, photos etc and they are our history. Thanks for the introduction to Nina.

  6. I'm kind of half way there, Christa... just shabby, at the moment!

It's very nice, Christa, but I can't help feeling it's just a fashion, whereas antiques are forever! But antiques aren't to everybody's taste, are they? I love antiques!

I love the images you posted, Christa. Very, very nice!

PS: Getting ready for my Italy!!!!

    Ciao!
