Over the weekend when walking in Berne,
we saw the Bernese Alps in the back of the town.
They appeared to be very close.
In the centre you see the world-famous Eigernordwand.
It was so impressive I had to take a photo for you!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteDear Christa - how beautiful. We just love being in the mountains, you are very fortunate to have the Alps on your doorstep. There is still a lot of snow on those mountains!

Dear Christa... this is to die for! I love the Alps... they are so beautiful and majestic.
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time I went to France (with friends-from Italy, in two cars) Once we left the Italian side of the Alps, we stopped at this tiny village, in the French Alps and paddled in a little stream. The water was so clear, the sky was blue and, from someone who was born in a big city, by the sea, in an Italian region where you only have a few hills.. it was an amazing experience. I think I got the bug!
I just love the world... all of it, and I wish life could go on and on, so I could experience all of it... the whole world. In the meantime I can just say that Bern is Bl**dy GORGEOUS, YOU LUCKY THING! WOW! WOW! WOW!

ReplyDeleteHi Christa,
ReplyDeleteThat is such a wonderful picture, I love the Alps. We came to Switzerland two years ago on our 25th Wedding Anniversary and stayed in a village above Interlaken. I had forgotten how spectacular the view of the mountains can be!
