Bathrooms - decorated

As I am one of those persons who also decorate their bathrooms, I am sometimes disappointed that other people don't. More so if these non-bathroom-decorators, accessorize all the other rooms in their apartment or house.

Hereafter some examples that inspire:

This examples shows: It does not need much...
A few pretty shampoo bottles and fluffy towels make all the difference

Even if  the flowers are tiny - they change the atmosphere

A floor that speaks for itself

To achieve this look needs a bit more...
but you may find a towel rack on a flea market which take you one step closer..

I love pics in the bathroom - btw -  did you notice of that basket with the neatly folded towels?

An atmospheric lamp does a lot... if you add a chandelier - all the better!!!
A bathtub at the window... a dream!

A bathroom adjacent to the dressing room, a fireplace - luxurious!
Bathroom walls need not necessarily be painted in white.

Simple and orderly - love it!
Romantic and all about the details!
Not every house has such a room but the idea of using antlers as a towel rack is brilliant and worth copying!

What do you think?
Do you decorate your bathroom and change it according to the season?

However, have a lovely day!

  2. I totally agree Christa.
The bathroom also is an integral part of our home and should be decorated and made to look inviting. Even the toilet paper. one can now buy all the colours that exist. I put a photo of part of my bathroom on one of my posts earlier in the year.
I have bought some new things to decorate it for this coming winter.
    I love your images.
What better than to have lovely fresh white towels when you come out of the shower or bath.
    happy thursday Christa

  3. Inspiring! I hang pictures and paint them interesting colors, but that's it. I really like the rustic ones.

  5. Hi Christa

I pretty well leave it alone except to change out the towels and soap when guests are coming.

Hope you have a great weekend

  6. I love your bathroom selection especially the bath by the window. I do have bath foam in glass bottles, candles and I currently have a scarlet geranium flower picked from the garden in a vase to add a splash of colour.

  7. I agree that the bathroom should look as lovely as any other room in the house. You should feel relaxed and a bit pampered in the bathroom. Ours are very small (tidy in fact) but there is always things that you can do to make these rooms feel luxurious. Thanks for the lovely ideas, Connie :)

  11. This made me laugh! I too decorate my bathroom with soaps and bottles full of gorgeous smelling things. It's often a losing battle to keep it looking beautifully styled with my husband and children, but I'm delighted to know that I am not alone - lol!
