Pumpkin greetings...

to my neighbors. I was lucky (I do not really have a green thumb) to harvest some (6 to be precise) pumpkins from "my" garden. The garden actually belongs to all the inhabitants of the house but it is me who is taking care on a voluntary basis. I buy the plants, water them etc. you all know what it takes... Furthermore the garden does not really have good soil as it is set on a roof top. This means I am growing everything in pots and that is why I am so proud of these colorful specimen! My neighbors approve everything I do and so I thought it to be lovely to say Thank You with these.

What to do think? Maybe my thumb still got a little bit greener this season?

  6. Hej Christa,
die sind dir doch gut gelungen ;-)
Ich finde Kürbisse immer toll, egal welche Farbe oder Form!
Aber dafür, dass die in Töpfen gewachsen sind, sind sie toll!
    Happy Day!

  8. Growing in containers can be tricky, as they dry out so fast . . . your harvest is beautiful and I just know that your neighbors will be delighted. Connie :)

  9. I wonder what they'll make with these. They look beautiful by the way, especially that bright orange one such a lovely colour.
