After roasting |
Before mixing the linguine with the roasted tomatoes |
We had some salad after it |
Indeed! We tried Anna's recipe from her blog A Taste of Italy. You'll find it here. We were too lazy to make our own pasta (of course we have done that many, many times) and tried it with linguine (we all favor them to spaghetti) and it tasted more than deliciously. Certainly also yummy on roasted bread (crostini) and along with a glass of Prosecco.
Like Anna's house also ours was filled with that odor I call Italian holiday. Wonderful! I strongly recommend to try out the recipe and get carried away to a hot weather holiday in Tuscany, Umbria, Liguria... well you name it!

I hope you start happily and full of plans into this weekend!

This looks so good - I love roasted tomatoes! And I also love the smell of Italian food cooking. It reminds me of my grandfather's house.
