Too sweet to eat!

These wonderfully decorated cakes make my heart flutter! They have amazing details and are truly firty!
I think I could not eat one piece of them - it would be a real shame to destroy those adorable and pretty pieces of art!

I found the pictures in the new issue of the Swiss food magazine La Tavola.

Did I sweeten your Tuesday? I hope so.

PS. The artist of the cakes is Albrik Kuhn. Hereis his website.

  2. They are most definitely too good to eat. A true work of art. I especially love the fish cake. Leahx

  3. I did a cake corse last term so I know how much work goes into them. I don't think I could eat them either.

  4. Some people do amazing things with sugar icing. When H had a big birthday, I asked him what flowers he would like on his cake, and he said Foxgloves. A lady made him a cake with the most wonderful clump of them standing to one corner on the top, and they looked for all the world as if they were real.

  5. You certainly did sweeten this Tuesday Christa.
    What delightfully decorated cakes.

I had a confectioner make my daughters wedding cake. It was one large round cake ..but I had it decorated with fresh flowers. I have photos somewhere, so many years ago now.
    Thank you Christa
Hope you feeling a little better!
