Where I caught my fishes...

As promised yesterday I now show you where I caught my fishes:

CAPE COD!

Where else?

Come with me to the Seapine Cottage...

We are approaching the house - doesn't it look fantastic?

Nearly there...
The gardener mowed the lawn before our arrival...
Let's go inside... did you notice the sailing boats carved in the shutters?

Lovely details...

Welcome! The sun says hello as well!

A beach house fireplace...

Here I sat after before the fishing...

and here I took a nap after the fishing...

Would you like something to drink?

Here we shall have fresh lobster tonight...
Here is your bedroom - I would prefer listening to the waves but of course you can watch TV.
I think Moby Dick is on the program...

A bathtub to have a bath at least twice a day...

... before day dreaming on this balcony or gazing at the stars at night...

So what do you think? A lovely house and landscape, isn't it?
Unfortunately it was too far away for a day trip from Switzerland.
However, I'll dream on and one day...

Have a look at more lovely places here.

  2. Thank you for making me smile, I love where you caught your fish. I was already to pack my bags and join you instead of going to work! Your dreams are the same as mine, won't it be wonderful to stay there even for a week!

  4. Cape Cod, in the USA, is a place where lots of American artists (especially painters) choose to live, and you can see why, by looking at the pictures you posted: wide spaces, beaches, boats, blue skies and lots of colours!

We have a couple of artist friends who live there. The wife is inspired by the impressionists and the husband paints beautiful landscapes.

Your fish are very beautiful, Christa, but... did you really have to travel all that way, to catch them? Some people... any excuse for a holiday!
