Paralympics - Gold for Edith Wolf-Hunkeler

That is what I read in the newspaper yesterday morning:

"The wheelchair user Edith Wolf-Hunkeler wins Gold for the second time at the Paralympics.

After the marathon title in Beijing in 2008, the Swiss in London triumphs over 5000 m."

I am so proud of Edith Wolf-Hunkeler !
She and all the other athletes at the Paralympics in London
are incredibly strong and powerful in mind and body!
I am deeply impressed!
Happy Tuesday, all!

  7. What an amazing achievement for Edith. We have been enjoying watching the paralympics too and it's wonderful the support they have been getting in London, unfortunately there is not so many people viewing the sailing in Weymouth. The races aren't as close to shore as during the Olympics. All of the competitors are amazing.
