Last Friday I cleaned up my balcony - the plants finished blooming and turned brown. Some of the soil I put in an Ikea bag as I thought I could still use it for the winter planting on the balcony and in the garden later on. Look what happened: I had the bag in a warm place and the seeds of the morning glory thought it to be spring and started growing! The bag is full of little plants and look so pretty that even my two boys said that I should blog about it! Here I go then... and I am linking up with Green Day 18 at Raindrops and Daisies.
I hope you are having a great day!

Dear Christa,
ReplyDeleteIt seems that the weather each year, seems to be changing at a faster pace.
The Ikea bag, has served like a glass house and kept the seeds warmer.. this is amazing.
nice photos.. on Green day 18...

That is wonderful Christa - can you pot them up and save them for next year?

São os milagres da natureza. Mas isso só acontece com pessoas que a amam e cuidam dela. Lindo demais.
ReplyDeleteUm lindo final de semana. Abraços do Green Day.
Lindo! Lindo! O nascimento é bênção! Abraços!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat surprise! Can they be saved and planted indoors? Happy Green Day!
ReplyDeleteShame you couldn't over winter them. The sweet little things are trying so hard to be alive! Maybe you would need a greenhouse, or maybe, the poor things are not destined to live and flower...
ReplyDeleteThey look cute in the IKEA bag, though! Thank you for sharing such a sweet image! I love the tiny baby plants!
