Spring on the plate...

As we are still waiting for the warm weather here
I thought that some spring feelings on our plates could do well...

A salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, pomegranate, oranges, mint parsley,
olive oil, salt, pepper a bit of honey and crumbled feta cheese was like medicine!
We had warm baguette and a glass of red wine with it.

At least some little bit of spring in the tummy...

  5. I am loving this dish Christa.
I make a similar dish, without the honey or pomegranate ...
I often add tuna. Our small baby tomatoes are delicious at the moment.
I think this will be tomorrows lunch.

  7. Sounds like heaven! I love the additions of the fruits. I like to keep a basic Greek salad in the fridge. You've given me some ideas to freshen it up.
    It's so pretty too!

  9. Hello Christa! I love your salad! I find that you can be creative with salads, especially if you add cheese, or different ingredients to the "green" stuff!
When I go shopping, I always stop at Pret, to eat their salad with avocado, crayfish, mixed leaves and the most fantastic dressing! Adding prawns, or maybe chicken, for a non vegetarian version, is good. In my blog I have a recipe for a tuna and potato salad, which is, to me, one of the best salads in the world, really full of flavour... and now I feel hungry!

    HAPPY DAY!
